From a young age, Venture had a knack for uncovering lost items. During their childhood, they moved frequently, which fueled a lifelong passion for exploration, with each new locale offering fresh opportunities for discovery. Drawn to the Wayfinder Society—a collective of archaeologists and historians—Venture embarked on a journey of learning and adventure. Initiating their apprenticeship with the Wayfinders at the age of 16, Venture quickly distinguished themselves as a fearless and resourceful explorer. As their expertise grew, so too did their responsibilities within the Wayfinder Society. Venture was also tasked in securing valuable sites from looters and scavengers. But it was during an encounter with Talon at the ancient site of Ilios that Venture faced their greatest challenge yet. Venture confronted the intruders and was victorious, driving Talon from the site and preserving its secrets. Cameron did research on an artifact Talon had acquired, last seen in ruins at Cairo. The reliefs led them to the Shambali, who directed them to Talon's hideout. After a lot of digging, Cameron emerged in Talon's hidehout.
