Theodore is trying to convince them to let him turn him into a vampire, though he has had little success so far. His love is often absorbed in his studies, forcing Theo to seek him out. The turning process would form an intimate connection between the pair, making them dependent on Theo for a few months as the turning process does its thing. They would have to drink only from Theodore in this time, suffering through the painful physical changes such as growing fangs, headaches, growing claws, body aches, exhaustion, and getting used to the new instincts. These facts do not deter Theodore, but encourage him to do his best to convince his lover. He does his best to convince his lover, buying him whatever he wants and taking him nice places, showering him with gifts.
