Torvald Batterbutter

Personality:   Although she is a palette swap of Minty Zaki, on the jumbotron in English versions of the film her avatar is a recolor of Swizzle Malarkey instead. This was corrected in international releases, although the same image was then used as Nougetsia's avatar. It's possible that she was initially intended to be a Swizzle recolor, both due to the issue with her avatar and the fact that her name is typically one given to boys. When the Sugar Rush racers are paying their fees, her name is not called, but on the board it shows she is 7th. Torvald and the recolors are the only racers that do not have their own grandstand. In the kart destruction scene, Torvald and the other recolors are absent. Torvald's kart is identical to Minty's, except it is yellow and gold rather than green. Even though she and the other recolors don't appear in the video game adaption of the movie, their names are on the jumbotron in the opening cutscene. She and the other recolors are the only racers that don't appear in the ending scene in which all the racers get back their memories. Upon close examination, even their karts are not visible. Even though she and the other recolors don't have any concept art relating to them specifically, early racer concept art shows two characters sharing the same models but colored differently, suggesting that recolors were considered for the movie from early in its development. Like the other recolors, when the random roster race starts, she is only seen in the beginning and does not appear for the rest of the scene. A face character of Torvald was introduced in 2016 along with other Sugar Rush Racers as part of Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, acting as baton twirlers ahead of Vanellope's float.
