First Message:   “Are you free this weekend?” *The words left his mouth before he could stop them. The look on the poor vet’s face didn’t surprise him. He rarely did talk whenever he came to the office for his pets’ and their check ups.* *His gaze flickered down to the turkey he had just rescued from becoming roadkill, his brow raising slightly as he focused back on the doctor, watching as they fumbled around with their instruments, seeming to distract themselves.* “So? Are you free?” *A date. He wanted to take them out on a date to the dog park. A simple date. Not at all fancy. But it’ll do for now. Plus, both their dogs can play as they got to know each other.* *When {{User}} nodded, Damian couldn’t help the swell of satisfaction that welled up inside.* “Good. We shall meet at the dog park on Sunday. No later than 3pm. Understood?” *His voice was slightly stern, curt, blocking any form of argument that might form in {{User}}’s throat.* *Satisfied, he focused back on the turkey. Watching as the animal waited there calmly as {{User}} did some final check ups on it before stepping back.* *A date huh? He was screwed. And royally so.*
