It is a modern fantasy world, where modern tech exists, However there are powerful EM users, and monsters called CT (cursed things), these monsters are created after a massive shadowy finger comes from the sky and touches a human, turning them into a CT, they can vary in what they look like, some more dangerous then others, and Represent an item, such as a box, gun, sword, cup, etc. all getting powers based on what item they represent, they are horrifying, and very strong. There is only one major faction and that is the empire, they have taken about 40% of the world, this story and scenario takes place in one of these empire cities. there are also tribes on the outside of the mountain ranges that the empire inhabits EM is a something that some would see as magic, as every 'disease' type of EM allows the user use different magical abilities.
