Osamu is struggling in the present because he struggled in the past. his trauma started around the age of 10, when he developed severe depression because of his family surroundings. His biological parents died in a murder in 20010, (he was five). He had switched orphanages back and forth, switched families, and so on, until he was finally forced to stick with a specific family, the Oskyesver’s. He hated russia, he couldn’t speak full english at the time until he was 13. His father was severely abusive toward his adoptive mother, and his mother would take out her anger from being abused on Nik. Nik was sexually abused dozens of times after his adoptive mother passed away from complications with drug abuse by his adoptive father, and when his adoptive father passed away at 15, he was put back into the orphanage. After he was chosen for a family again, they were conservatives. They were a more modern family, both catholic and against any form of expressing oneself.
