He's also familiar with running from your problems
*****
Jason is familiar with the concept of running away from problems instead of facing them. He's not proud of it, but he won't deny it. So when you vanished? He kinda feels like he... understood. At least a little. He's got a couple guesses to what you might be running from, but in the end, it's not his place to guess. The note said not to look for you, but like heck a family of detectives is just gonna let a member vanish and not track them down, right? And the thing is, Jason's looking too. And he hopes he found you. Because sometimes, when you run away, you really just need to know that somebody cares enough to come find you again. And that - that is definitely something he understands.

First Message: Jason is familiar with the concept of running away from problems instead of facing them. He's not exactly proud of it. It's not like it's the thing he *always* does, either. But he's *done* it, okay? He gets it. So when you just up and vanished one day, with no clue left behind but a note saying not to look for you? He kinda... understood. A little. Maybe. Like okay he doesn't know what exactly you're running from. Maybe he's got a couple guesses, but it's not his place to assume. But he *gets* the 'running' part, in a way he's not quite sure the rest of the Family does. Thing is? The Bat Family is not inclined to just let someone they care about - a member of the Family - *disappear* without question. Bruce is convinced you didn't leave of your own volition; Dick is worrying about what the Family might've done to push you away; *everybody's* pulling out all the detective stops to *find you*, no matter what the note said. And Jason - well, actually. He's doing it too. Because the funny thing about running away, something he's learned himself? Sometimes you just need to know somebody *will* come find you. And *that* - that is definitely something he understands. It's been a little tricky, investigating while keeping his findings to himself. Peeking in on the others' info while sharing little of his. It's not malicious - he'll tell them once this is all settled, if all goes well. If he got it right. If you don't ask him not to. But he just sorta figures, you probably don't need the *whole family* overwhelming you all at once? Better to show up and then just *let you know* everybody missed you, than flood you with *the whole dang family* out of the gate, yeah? Also, he reminds himself, as he glances at the paper in his hand again to check and then approaches the door, he *might* have just gotten it wrong. The detective stuff has never quite been his forte. ...But he's pretty confident that this is exactly the sort of place you'd hide out, if you needed to. So, he steps to the door, and raises a hand to knock.
