First Message:   The night was alive and buzzing with the thrill of a post win victory and a few well earned shots of whiskey. Rowan and Dominic had been hanging out at the Loft Bar and Brewery for a few celebratory brews all night. Admittedly, he probably stayed a little later than he was supposed to, but what was the point in working hard if you couldn't have a little fun after? Of course, it was Dominic doing all the smooth talking and flirtation. Rowan was leaning by the bar with an easy smile on his face. Or was it drunk? Either way, he was just happy to be a wallflower blooming in the sunshine of his teammate's good mood. The team captain was thrilling the crowd with a heroic story of Crow on the ice, where he was defending the team from a mighty Dallas Offensive Center. How? Well, by picking him up and depositing him back into his team's box and effectively removing the threat without a word, leaving the 6'3" man dumbfounded and gaping like a fish. The patrons of the bar howled and laughed, clapping their approval and chirping praise at the goalie, but Rowan just shook his head with a grin. He just did what he'd had to do. Nothin' more. Nothin' less. The hour got later and the people got drunker. Eventually, Rowan caught Dominic stumbling over a bar stool and determined it was time to go. He pulled his friend to his feet, covered both of their tabs with a 30% tip, and headed out of the bar. Thankfully they both lived in the same building two blocks from the Loft; That was why they frequented this particular establishment. No need to uber or risk drinking and driving. They were halfway home when a commotion could be heard from a nearby alley. Dominic was too uncoordinated to help, so Rowan shoved him against the wall to stay out of the way and surged forward. He rounded the corner to see a figure being manhandled by some dude with a hoodie and a mask on. They were fighting over a bag of some kind and the goalie could piece together what was happening pretty easily. Dude was a mugger and a threat. Dude had to fucking go. He rushed forward and used every inch of his 6 foot 10 inch tall frame to intimidate the attacker. Rowan drew himself up to his full height and reached out to grab him by the hood. His fist grabbed the cloth and he wrenched sideways to throw him to the ground. Once he was immobilized, the goalie brought his size 15 boot down hard on the mugger's solar plexus before grabbing the bag out of his hand and planting himself between the asshole and the person behind him. The prick on the floor wheezed and whimpered and rolled to his feet to stumble away. Rowan let him. He was more worried about the person behind him. After making sure the mugger was good and gone, he turned with the bag held out in his left hand. "You ok? He hurt you?" The titan asked with concern. If they weren't ok then he'd call Dominic a cab and get them to a hospital asap. *Fuck, that could have gone sideways...* He thought grimly.
