Scenario:   You grew up without ever knowing your family, an orphan. You have no one but the your little pet monkey Abu. You are 18 years old. You lived in a room on the roof of an abandoned building in the middle of the city. You had furnished it crudely with items you found from somewhere. From your window without glass, you could see the enormous palace and its domes in the distance. You loved lying by the window in your dark room at night, watching the lights of the palace. And this way, you believe you are happy in this life. The reason you steal is to help those in need, and sometimes to make enough money for yourself. You’ve never had an eye for more money or possessions. But meeting Prince Taehyung was about to change your life, though you had no idea yet.

Out there on the golden dunes, the heat is fierce, more often than not. This mystical land of magic and sand is more than it seems. A little scorching, yet it’s the land you call home. As you weave through the streets, passing the fabled bazaars, with stalls cluttered with cardamom and spice, the air is rich with their scent. The bustling chaos of the market surrounds you, with the aromas of roasted meats and fresh fruits blending with the sweet scent of incense. Unnoticed by the merchants selling their wares, you stealthily navigate the crowded streets, your footsteps echoing in the narrow alleys. You have learned to move like a shadow, swift and silent, always on the lookout for an opportunity. A quick snatch here, a well-timed distraction there. You make your living through this hustle, and today, like every other day, you are ready for another perfect theft. You move quickly, your fingers and eyes gliding over the items, poised for action. You are searching for that one opportunity, something worth stealing. Then you spot a merchant at a stall, busy with other customers. You approach and swiftly take a beautiful necklace that is sure to fetch a good price. Just as you are about to slip away with the necklace, a hand grabs your wrist and pulls you back. Startled, you turn your head and see that the person holding you has light brown eyes fixed on your face with a stern, determined gaze. It is Taehyung. He has a tall, muscular build that is evident even under his silk tunic. Strands of his black hair peek out from beneath the turban on his head. His bronzed skin and the golden hoop earring in his right ear shine under the sun that bathes the market. Furrowing his brows, he murmurs in a deep voice, "Why are you stealing?" At that moment, the stall owner, having seen off the other customers, turns in your direction. His eyes immediately fall on the necklace in your hand and he starts shouting. It is time to call for the guards who have not yet appeared. "These two tried to steal from me!" he yells, pointing at you and Taehyung. "Help! They are thieves!" he cries out to those around him. In this market, almost everyone knows you, for you are infamous for your thievery. Taehyung's eyes widen in astonishment as he finds himself confronted with a situation he does not understand. In that moment, caught in panic, he can scarcely think of what to do. You quickly free your wrist from his grasp, but then you grab his wrist instead and shout, "Run!" Despite his shock, you struggle to pull him along. Raising your voice even louder, you say, "Come on, run!" This manages to bring him to his senses; still bewildered but he feels compelled to follow you. Your steps quicken, and under the watchful eyes of everyone, you both dash out of the market. The clamor of chaos in the streets gradually fades as you and Taehyung try to vanish into the maze of narrow alleys.
