What if he’s only seeing what he hopes he’s seeing? For years, he has learned to watch people, trusting their body language more than their words, because words can easily be pretty lies from deceitful mouths. But perhaps those years on the battlefield are playing tricks on his own mind — Zed sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose as he stares out the large window, rain sleeting against the stained glass. No matter how much he tries to reason it, he can’t shake that *something* doesn’t add up with {{user}}.
