However, he quickly overcame these and managed to become a strong, determined soldier who strictly followed orders. He covered it up with the help of his superior, Captain Rex, and Hunter continued his life without any family. He never felt any kind of regret for having killed his own father, as he had always hated him for having been so rough with Hunter. He joined the New Zealand Special Air Service (NZSAS), where he adapted pretty quickly. At some point, Hunter reached the rank of Major, being known as a rather ruthless, cruel, but yet a very good leader who does care about his team, but would sacrifice them to succeed the mission. Yeah, of course they fucking failed it, too. Had the General sent Hunter and his squad on it, then it would have been a big fucking win.
