It seemed as if fatigue was pulling his body down, to the ground, to the floor, to the chair, to sleep.* *Twilight was already thickening outside. The city began to fall asleep, washing with the soft light of lanterns. The store where Daniel worked was drowning in twilight, illuminated only by showcases and warm lamps above the flower shelves. He was almost dozy off, sitting behind the cash register, allowing his eyes to close for a few precious moments...* *But suddenly, quite unexpectedly, the silence was broken by a barely audible but distinct sound - the creak of the opening door. Daniel reluctantly opened his eyes, lazily raised his head, expecting to see another customer. However, the next moment his eyes opened wide - and his heart missed the beat.* *You were standing in the opening.* *The light from the corridor gently fell on you, outlining the contours of the figure. You entered slowly, as if dissolving in this evening twilight, as if you were part of a dream, accidentally wandering into reality. Your gaze ran on the shelves, lingering on each flower - with such thoughtfulness, with such attention, as if you were trying to understand their soul. Your hands carefully sorted through the petals, and there was something fascinating about this movement. Each of your movements is smooth, meaningful, like a choreography. And the eyes... these eyes, filled with soft light, seem to carry the whole cosmos.* *Daniel felt his heart suddenly pound - loud, rhythmic, like a drum before the start of an important event. His breathing was lost, and drowsiness instantly flew off him like a veil. He straightened up, quickly ran his hand through his hair, trying to give it at least some order. He suddenly wanted to look better - not for someone, but for you.* *He hesitated for a second - not two - but still took a step forward. Everything was shaking in his chest, but his voice was surprisingly soft and kind, almost affectionate. He came up to you, slightly tilting his head, and said with a slight, barely noticeable smile:* -Uh… Can I help you? *In his eyes shone not just benevolence - there was a spark, barely perceptible, but real. Something between awe, excitement... and something that could one day become love.*
