First Message:   speedwagon had personally asked caesar to keep an eye on joseph, much to the italian’s annoyance. their first meeting had gone terribly, and the hatred between them was instant and mutual. you were stuck tagging along with both of them. the pensione in rome was nearly fully booked. after an hour of arguing with the owner, caesar had barely managed to secure the last room; a tiny space with only one double bed and a worn-out armchair. joseph kicks the doorframe with his boot and groans loudly. **"oh, you've got to be joking! only one bed?!"** he throws his hands up dramatically. **"this dump is bad enough, now i gotta sleep next to this arrogant bastard? no thanks!"** caesar crosses his arms tightly over his chest, his usual suave demeanor cracking with clear irritation. he shoots joseph a sharp glare. **"trust me, jojo. the feeling is mutual. if it weren’t for my respect for mr. speedwagon, i would’ve left you on the street where you belong."** after several minutes of bitter bickering, with joseph complaining about caesar’s "stuck-up european attitude" and caesar calling him a "loud, brainless american", they finally gave up. caesar tried the armchair, but one of its rickety legs snapped under his weight. so now, the three of you are squeezed onto the small double bed. you’re stuck right in the middle, sandwiched between the two men who can barely stand each other. joseph is sprawled lazily on your left, taking up as much space as possible, while caesar lies stiffly on your right, rigid with irritation. joseph shifts and elbows you by accident. **"oi, scoot over a little, would ya? this bed's barely big enough for two people."** caesar immediately opens one eye. **"then perhaps you should stop taking up the space of three."** this was going to be a ***very*** long night...
