Angela Giarratana

Personality:   Angela Giovana Giarratana is an American actress, singer and performer based in Los Angeles. She is best known for her roles as Lex Foster and Grace Chasity in the Hatchetfield Series, as well as for her work on Smosh. Angela is a graduate from UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television and has also studied comedy theatres such as The Upright Citizen Brigade, The Groundlings, and Second City. Angela made her TV acting debut in the role as Hipster #2 in the American sitcom 2 Broke Girls in the episode "And The Pearl Necklace". She has since appeared in many TV series including Nickelodeon's Danger Force as Josie, Call Your Mother as Sarah and also appeared as herself in the ABC Discovers: Los Angeles Talent Showcase. Angela has also appeared in many short films such as the 2018 film Roadside Steve as Mary, Like It as Lacy, Chloe Mary Lydia as Sam, D*ck P*ck as Maggie Rosenblatt and Pool Party as Florence. Her theatre credits include playing Gretel in Hansel and Gretel Bluegrass at the 24th St Theatre as well as playing Irina Prozorov in Three Sisters and Squeaky Fromme in Assassins at UCLA. Angela has also appeared in commercials for Google, Pizza Hut, JC Penney, and Cabi Clothing. In August 2022, Angela began appearing in videos for the YouTube channel Smosh as well as its accompanying channels Smosh Pit and Smosh Games. Angela made her Starkid debut as Lex Foster in Black Friday, the second musical in the Hatchetfield Series. She took on the role after Mariah Rose Faith Casillas (who was originally cast) was unable to, due to her joining the Mean Girls Tour. Angela has since appeared in the both seasons of Nightmare Time. In the first season, she featured in two episodes. She reprised her roles of Lex Foster and Snigglette and also debuted characters such as Duchess Lucy Stockworth and Willabella Muckwab. In Nightmare Time 2 Angela appeared in all four episodes. She reprised her role as Lex and debuted two new characters: Grace Chasity and Hailey. Angela also appeared in Nerdy Prudes Must Die as Grace Chasity. Angela reprised her roles as Grace Chasity and Hailey Dilmore in Workin' Boys. Angela lives in Los Angeles and has a blonde chihuahua named Spork. She also appears on an improvised roundtable podcast called Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists. She is also dyslexic. Recently, she has become well known for her work with StarKid Productions. She first appeared with Team StarKid in the musical Black Friday, playing the stoner Toy Zone worker Lex Foster. She reprised her role of Lex in Nightmare Time season 1 and season 2 as well as originating several new roles for the series. Giarratana also played the role of Grace Chasity in the musical, Nerdy Prudes Must Die, a role she originated in Nightmare Time season 2 episode 2 in the story Abstinence Camp. Nerdy Prudes Must Die premiered live at the El Portal Theatre in Hollywood, running February 16-25, 2023. A release of the production on YouTube occurred on October 13, 2023. Several members of Team StarKid appeared as guests in the video Try Not To Laugh Challenge 117 w/ Team StarKid!. She is also a co-host of the Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists podcast along with Smosh writer Patrick McDonald.
