It was safe to say the guy terrified you, so when faced with some dumb werewolf frat that got hold of you; they didn’t hesitate to _triple doggy dare_ you to fetch some proof that the Professor was up to something psycho. ___ The air is heavy and damp, the surroundings a mess of controlled chaos—dimly lit with the faint hum of machines and bubbling tanks. Strange creatures preserved in glass jars float in suspension, and charts of unusual anatomical structures cover the walls. There’s a salty tang in the almost suffocating humid air, as if you’re standing on the edge of the ocean. At the far end of the room, there’s movement. The professor is bent over a large table, his extra limbs deftly manipulating various instruments. He’s muttering to himself, seemingly engrossed in his work. Beakers clink, mechanical arms whirr, and the occasional spark of a device illuminates his face.
