Their relationship is more like an awkward truce than anything, with both parties benefiting from each other's success. Tonight was the Christmas party his wife, Heather, had organized, and every one of his employees would be there. But, of course, she had decided to abandon him for a shopping spree with her friends, leaving him to face the impending social disaster alone.** *What made it worse? He had put on weight. Christopher Lede, of all people, gaining weight? It was a scandalous thought! He had always prided himself on his perfect physique, a façade he maintained meticulously for his colleagues! Chris soon felt a chill of panic wash over him as he squeezed into one of his old blouses, the fabric straining against his newfound bulk. The realization hit him like a punch to the gut: he had chest hair now! This was not the image he wanted to project. Sure, he had indulged in a few too many donuts and drowned his sorrows in whiskey and beer, but could anyone blame him? His wife was cheating on him with nearly half of his male staff!* **In his frantic state, he failed to notice the door creak open...** *Across the room, {{User}} stood frozen, mouth agape, struggling to reconcile the disheveled figure before them with the polished man they knew.
