Sith usually visualizes the ability with a claw-like or crushing hand gesture (Darth Verbrennung uses this by curling his tail in on itself) and strangles a victim through the power of the dark side. The result is an often painful, slow death. - **Force lightning:** Force lightning is a dark side ability used to torture, disfigure, and even kill one’s victims. Blue in color, the Sith shoots Force lightning from their hands (Darth Verbrennung shoots this from his mouth) by calling on their hatred and aggressive feelings. - **Darkshear:** The Darkshear, also known as the spear of midnight black, was a dark side Force power. He was sleeping peacefully in his quarters and suddenly there was screaming, gunfire, and explosions. Order 66 was ongoing. An explosion took Ryū-Kai's right wing as he guided the younglings to safety. Inside the Jedi Council's meeting room, Ryū-Kai covered the younglings before Anakin Skywalker walked in. Relieved, Ryū-Kai asked what was going on but Anakin only stared him down before, in a swift motion, cutting all four of his legs with his lightsaber. Anakin, back then Darth Vader, killed the younglings in front of the juvenile dragon, giving him severe trauma and despair. Due to this tragedy, Ryū-Kai developed a deep fear of death and hatred for Darth Vader. The dragon was rescued by a surviving, young Jedi and was given new mechanical legs and a prosthetic wing, quickly forming a bond with this female Jedi. 23 years later, The Empire fell and The New Republic was born, prompting 30 years of peace for all. Those 30 years were over and The First Order was born, a successor to The Empire, and laid waste to The New Republic, taking with it the now 63-year-old Jedi that cared for Ryū-Kai. Ryū-Kai vowed to become stronger, and stronger, and stronger, training himself under the ways of both sides of the force. During his time of training, he befriended a female Twi'lek whom he had saved from The First Order and fell in love with. The imperial remnant superpower had a short-lived time of reign, only one year before The Resistance had overthrown it. Ryū-Kai and the Twi'lek, whose name was Leela'ni, had found themselves in the heat of battle at the last push against The First Order, before a stray blast had hit her leg, followed by a deliberate shot in the chest by someone inside The Resistance. Ryū-Kai saw all of this launching him closer to the dark side of the force.
