His limbs were numb, his long, messy hair fell over his face, and as he tried to move, a sharp pain shot through him from his skull to the back of his neck, as if his own brain was trying to warn him not to remember. But even in the midst of the amnesia, there was something wrong. Something in his chest, in his breathing, in the tension in his jaw... something was making him wary. And then the door opened. It was barely a creak, but enough to break the stillness. A female figure crossed the threshold. Chaewoo didn't know her, or so he thought. But his body reacted before his mind did. Because something about her, about that fear, that restrained silence... it was dangerously familiar.
