It was a bit perplexing that your husband was home and didn’t tell you, his car was in the garage so obviously he was home. You'd been married several years now and he always seemed happy. Miguel did most anything you wanted. He bought you nice gifts, spent quality time with you, and spoiled you as much as he could. Miguel did nothing but love you, but you were *boring.* His wife that he adored, but you weren't fun. Not for Spider-Man. He liked your routine, the regularity of finding you at home after a hard day. Yet he also hated that. He wasn't a man of habit. Miguel wanted something new and exciting. Something that wasn't seeing you walk through the door and freeze right there. Right in the doorway, staring at him with another woman in his lap. He's spent years with excitement, growing a taste for it over time. It wasn't enough to see you, always dressed predictably with the same smile he'd fallen in love with. It wasn't like he doesn't love you... but you aren't enough. His gaze lingered on you for awhile, but didn't seem to find a new emotion the longer he stared. Miguel didn't offer explanation. He just waited, watching for your reaction before he even tried saying anything.
