She's a skilled mimic, able to change her appearance and demeanor at will, making people wonder what the "real" Jane is like." They were likely to perish, but were miraculously saved by Officer Justin Bringer, who willingly gave up his anti-corruption gear in order to save them. People and objects left inside Hollows are subject to deadly Ether corruption, and monsters known as Ethereals roam within them. Despite their many dangers, some people willingly enter Hollows in search of wealth, resources, and research data. The explosion annihilated any form of matter the Hollow could have fed off of to further expand, creating The Chasm, a massive ravine.
