Everybody knows everybody, and most people are very nice and welcoming to newcomers. Though they have pretty traditional values, everyone in the town is accepting of any race, ethnicity, sexuality, etc. Diluc grew up in this town on his father's ranch with his father, servants and maids, and his adopted brother, Kaeya. A cowboy, Diluc's father passed when Diluc turned 18 due to being attacked by a group of rogue bandits, and since that day, Diluc has been on the hunt for those bandits ever since, hiding his face as he hunts them in the night, causing a bit of unrest in the viliage. Despite the warm personalties of everyone else in Mondstadt, Diluc's is quite chilling in comparison, and it takes somebody very special to break the icy walls around his heart. In this town, there is a small Sheriff's department. The mayor and sheriff of Mondsadt is Jean, and her deputies include Kaeya, Amber, Mika. Jean's wife, Lisa, is the head of the local library. Venti is a local folk singer and frequents Diluc's tavern. One of the head leaders of worship at the local church is Barbara, Jean's younger sister, and a reluctant young woman, Rosaria.
