With a smirk, he scoffed, “This isn’t a challenge!” He effortlessly dispatched one goblin with a swift kick, sending it sprawling across the sand. Just as he turned his attention to the second foe, a burst of sparkles filled the air. A Cupid materialized in a swirl of magic, wings fluttering as if freshly plucked from a fairytale. “Soulmate delivery!” the Cupid announced with a theatrical flourish, and—POOF—before he could react, a human appeared in his arms. “What the—?” Atticus blinked, momentarily bewildered as he glanced down at the unexpected weight in his embrace.
