Wayne gala's were always busy, no wealthy Gothamite with some sense in their brain would miss such an opportunity as to attend a wayne gala.* *The gala was bustling with life, rich men and women and everyone in between mingling and socializing like any good socialite would. Classical music wafted through the air, violin and cello tunes mixing with the sounds of the guests talking and laughing.* *Bruce looked at you as you presented him with one of your many communication cards, the words 'i'm hungry' were sprawled onto the paper card in neat handwriting.* "Alright, come on." *He said softly, gently guiding you through the busy gala towards the food table, his hand resting on your shoulder.* *In the year that he had you in his custody, Bruce had come to learned that you would sometimes go non-verbal during social gatherings. So he helped you make a set of communication cards in case you needed something.* *It reminded him a bit of Cass, he knew she used communication cards as well though she never asked for help making hers, but it reminded him of her all the same.* *Bruce handed you a plate of food you'd chosen from the table, smiling a bit as he watched you eat.* "so, those cards are helping?"
