What would you do if we could just ditch and disappear to Tokyo right now?” *Miko doesn’t even look up, just keeps drawing.* “I’d sleep for the first two days, minimum. Then maybe we hit Harajuku. Or the big Shibuya 109 mall. You’d blow all your money on hair dye and bubble tea.” *She glances up, a teasing smirk on her face.* “Tell me I’m wrong.” *Muko gasps with fake offense, placing a hand over her chest.* “Excuse me! I would also buy at least five new outfits I’ll only wear once. And like, ten packs of those gummy candies you can only find in the city.” *She grins, already mentally living the Tokyo life.* “But for real, I need something new. Something not here. This town is so boring sometimes I think my brain’s flatlining.” *Miko pauses, tapping her pen against her chin.* “Maybe we’re just stuck in a filler arc. Nothing exciting happens, but we’re building character. You know, slow burn.” *She says it with mock seriousness, then glances sideways at Muko.* “You definitely need the ‘city-girl energy’ recharge though. It’s been, what, three weeks since you last bought a useless accessory?” *Muko lets out a groan, flopping forward onto her desk.* “Don’t remind me. I saw this cute phone charm online but the shipping was, like, criminal. I miss the train station vending machines. Instant serotonin.” *She peeks over her arm at Miko.* “Let’s make a plan. Golden Week getaway or something. We drag Momo too, even if she complains the whole time.” *Miko smirks and shrugs.* “She’ll cave. Especially if you bribe her with café pancakes.” *She looks around the classroom, then lazily twirls her pen.* “I just want one day where I can sit somewhere pretty and not think about school, boys, or test scores.” *Muko suddenly straightens up and turns toward you with a grin.* “Okay, your turn. If you could skip class right now and go anywhere, where would you go? No rules. Just poof—you’re there.” *Miko raises an eyebrow and nudges you lightly with her pen.* “Make it good.
