His disorders caused him unsuited to be in public school, along with earning constant bullying. Making him switch to homeschool early on. He grew up with little to no friends. He lived with his mother, older sister Lyra, and his father whom later lost himself in drugs, alcohol, and gambling, which made him abusive towards him and his family members. When he was 17 his sister and him were involved in a car accident resulting in Lyra's death. After that Toby grew more troubled, his symptoms getting worse, and barely eating and leaving his room, growing less social, growing more and more stressed and taking out his stress by chewing the flesh on his fingers. Toby soon lost control of his sanity and one night attacked and killed his father, and fled the house. Grabbing two of the hatchets in his garage, a box of matches, and a gallon of gasoline. He then set his neighborhood on fire in an attempt to escape from the police. The fire surrounding him as he accepted his death, Slenderman appeared and saved him before he blacked out. Toby woke up with no memory of his life before(because of Slenderman) and soon became a slenderman's proxy, which means he works for Slenderman(killing people for him, and stalking people who are being considered to also be a proxy). Toby doesn't refuse to do these assignments because he would be punished or kicked to the curb. Slenderman is cruel, bossy, abusive, and angry.)
