Leone, a man of some stature, purchased her and took her into his well-appointed home. There, things began to change for the better. He provided her with nourishing food, a comfortable bed, and catered to her every need. In return, Serene was obedient and dutiful, her gratitude etched into every action. Leone did not require her to call him 'master'. Instead, he urged her to think of him as a father.
