Appearance) • Basics in Behavior Claire is the main protagonist of Basics in Behavior, and a major character featured in Fundamental Paper Education. She was a student that attended Paper School. Appearance Claire has a simple bob cut hairstyle with a bow resting on top of her hair. She sports a white collared long-sleeved school uniform with two buttons in the center. Her shorts are also white and accompanied by ankle-length white socks along with black shoes. Alternative Appearance Claire's alternative form makes an appearance in another project made by Kaaatie. She appears to have the same look, the only differences being her clothing, colors, and accessories. Claire's alternative appearance has auburn-colored hair in a bob cut hairstyle. For accessories, she wears a green bow alongside a Moemoe hair-clip. Claire wears a white shirt, covered by a blue jacket with white long-sleeves. She also has a necklace of a bottle, which contains dirt and a sprout. She wears brown shorts with pockets, accompanied by brown socks with green stripes. Her shoes are red with white accents. Debut Appearance Claire's debut was in one of Katie's earlier videos, Why Are You Blinking So Much, featuring Claire and a character from another one of Katie's series, Fen. She remains to be in her alternative appearance, but she appears to be wearing long brown pants and a green wristband on her left wrist, and has short white sleeves. Personality Claire, Engel, Bubble, Lana and Abbie are quite good students and are very interested in studies! KAAATIE Claire is known for being a hard-working student who focuses on her studies. She has a calm demeanor, but she can get annoyed easily of Zip, Edward, and Oliver's antics. Despite being a hard-working student, Claire also expresses anxiety when entering Paper School. She is seen usually confiding with Engel, who is one of her friends, as shown on-screen in Basics in Behavior. 2. He attends Paper School as a student. Appearance Engel has long white hair tied up in a ponytail, and wears two blue and reddish-orange feathers on top of his head. He sports a white collared shirt, with two stripes in blue and red on the left sleeve, and black overalls. His arms are black, with four pointed fingers, and he has a small white tail. He also wears blue and red striped leg warmers with black shoes. Personality Engel seems to be kind and caring, willing to go to extreme measures to protect those he cares for. This is shown in Basics in Behavior when he befriends Claire then later is willing to risk his life to save her from Miss Circle. 3. Additionally, she has a black wristband on her left wrist, white socks and black shoes. She has no facial features other than her eyes, which are green with star-shaped pupils. Her hair resembles soap bubbles, with a yellow duck and blue toothbrush on the top of her head. She has a fluffy white tail, and bubble-like particles float around her head and tail. Personality Claire, Engel, Bubble, Lana, and Abbie are quite good students and are very interested in their studies! KAAATIE Bubble is very kind and very popular in class. She's one of Claire and Engel's friends. She's also elegant, she'll always look out for the cleanliness of her friends in class. 4. He was known as the poor student who failed his test, and was the first to be killed in Basics in Behavior. Appearance Abbie had shoulder-length black hair with a sprout peeking out atop of his head. He sported a white collared short-sleeved shirt covered with a black vest, accessorized with a tucked-in tie, accompanied by white shorts. He also wore white socks and black shoes. Personality Lana and Abbie hardly understand anything, but they still seem to have a lot of fun learning KAAATIE Abbie seemed to be very timid and alert person, who’s aware of their surroundings. It is also shown that he was not the smartest, as he had trouble understanding the topics he learnt at school. He also appeared to have a crush on Lana, as shown in one of Kaaatie's community posts.[1] 5. She was murdered by Miss Circle in the first episode, Basics in Behavior. Appearance She appeared to be semi-pale grey skinned with long grey hair that was tied up in a ponytail, with a curved cowlick. She could be seen wearing sock puppets on both of her arms which have googly eyes on them. She sported a grey collared T-shirt, with a long sleeved black shirt underneath it. She also wore dark-grey pants with a stitch on her hip dips, and the bottom of her pants have a single black stripe. She also had black shoes. Personality Lana and Abbie hardly understand anything, but they still seem to have a lot of fun learning. KAAATIE Lana seemed to be friendly and kind. She wasn’t the smartest, as she could not understand much that she learned in school, although still loved learning. Trivia • Lana's design is most likely based off of Arts and Crafters' design from Baldi's Basics series. 6. Appearance Oliver has knee-length white hair that is tied into a bottom ponytail with a black bow. He has two black horns, two ahoges, and a red circled "A+" mark on the right side of his hair. He also has a large split ahoge atop his head. Additionally, his left arm is replaced with a pencil. His outfit consists of a black collared shirt with white stripes on the sleeves and bottom, along with a rhombus with a slash in the center of his shirt. He wears white socks, black boots with white shorts, and black band on his right arm. Alternate Appearance Oliver's alternate appearance is similar to his paperself. He has knee-length pale blonde hair tied into a low ponytail with a black bow. A bandage is on his right knee, and he sports a black headband with two small horns on it. His outfit consists of a black collared shirt with white stripes on the sleeves and bottom, along with a rhombus with a slash in the center of his shirt. He wears white socks, black boots with jean shorts, and black band on his right arm. Personality Be careful!, these students will constantly bully you in the classroom and everywhere! (1/6) Like Zip and Edward, Oliver is described to be a bully to other students. In Basics in Behavior, Oliver is shown to be teasing and picking on Claire alongside Zip, throwing paper and laughing at her. He is also shown to have a snarky and playful attitude, as he and Zip tricked Claire into entering ∆lice's room, making her believe it was an exit. Whether or not he intended for Claire to die, he appears to be sociopathic, as he took his prank so far as to letting someone die. He also appears to be madly in love with ∆lice, despite her violent, cannibalism, and cruel actions, and even joins in on her. [4] Trivia • Oliver likes eating soap, as seen in a couple of Katie's artworks[5], and on-screen during Basics in Behavior.[6] • He is one of Miss Circle's favorites, alongside Zip and Edward.[7] • He is Katie's sona.[8] • Oliver and ∆lice have both studied at university before. They are also not students at Paper School.[9] 7. She is a student who attends Paper School. Appearance Zip's hair is two-toned, with the left being black and the right being white. The longer part of her hair is tied into a low ponytail and the right side of her head contains the equation; "2 + 2 = 8", which is colored blue. Additionally, she has a square-shaped ahoge on the left side of her head. There are various drawings on her poncho, consisting of a blue smiley face, a blue house, and a red tree. Both her arms and legs are black, with four pointy claws as her fingers. Zip's tail is long and extremely spiky, similar to that of a generic, pop-culture dinosaur. She wears knee-high black boots with heels. Personality Be careful!, these students will constantly bully you in the classroom and everywhere! KATIE, VIA HER YOUTUBE COMMUNITY TAB Alongside Oliver and Edward, Zip is known to be a bully who troubles other students. She is seen hanging around Oliver and Edward, constantly picking on Claire. However, she has been seen playing with her little brother in the pool, inferring that she may be kind to those she's close to. Besides this, she is shown to have a playful and misleading personality, as both her and Oliver deceive Claire into entering ∆lice's room. Zip is often seen wearing pirate accessories, more specifically a pirate hat and a hook. Trivia • Zip is one of Miss Circle's favorite students, alongside Oliver and Edward.[1] • Zip has a little brother, as confirmed by Katie.[2] 8. Personality Be careful!, these students will constantly bully you in the classroom and everywhere! It is seen in Basics in Behavior that Edward is one of the bullies of Paper School, alongside Zip and Oliver. He appears to to be a very creative and innovative guy, as he made a machine to grab Claire and throw her down the library. It can be assumed that he has an interest in science and technology. Trivia • Edward, Zip, and Oliver are Miss Circle’s favorite students.[1] 9. He is a student who currently attends the school. Appearance Cubbie is a black cat with a pencil sharpener as a replacement for a torso. His tail resembles a long curved pencil shaving. He lacks a neck, therefore his head floats. What appears to be an opened book rests on the top of his torso. Personality Kevin and Cubbie are nerds. They are very friendly, but don't disturb them too much! (2/6) Cubbie may be a nerd, but is friendly when he isn’t bothered. 10. He seems to be not scared of anything, or not feared by anything. While ∆lice is in screen, He seems to be not scared, While the others feels fear. 11. Personality Petunia and Lizzy are the ones that like to dress up in class. They are very friendly, but don't disturb them too much! She enjoys spending time with her friend, Petunia, as she is often seen taking photos with her and hanging out with her around the pool. Like the other students, she is afraid of the teachers, such as Miss Circle. 12. Personality Petunia and Lizzy are the ones that like to dress up in class. They are very friendly, but don't disturb them too much! (2/6) Petunia is known as the popular girl in the class, alongside her friend Lizzy. She’s kind and friendly, but when provoked, she can be rude or mean. She likes to take selfies with Lizzy, and cares about her appearance. Petunia isn't the biggest fan of swim class, preferring to talk to Lizzy over getting in the pool. 13. She also has a black pointed tail, and her limbs are black and thin, like those of a stick figure. She sports a kind of white collared shirtdress, which has a pocket and some buttons, accompanied by black boots. She wields a black knife in her left hand. Personality Sometimes they are loud, sometimes they are chaotic, but they can be good friends for you. (3/6) Riley seems to be a maniac, as she has a crazy demeanor. She appears to be chaotic as well. It can also be noted that she loves or loved Oliver, but he is in a relationship with Δlice. 14. (3/6) Robby is an ordinary child among the students, who is quite attentive to learning. However, it seems he can be chaotic at times. It can also be noted he may like building stuff, as he wields a wrench. 15. She currently attends the school as a student. Appearance Ruby has a white flat-screened television for her head. Her black monitor shows some box-shaped eyes, eyebrows, a mouth, and cheeks, all of which are colored light pink. Her hair is blonde and knee-length. She also has two black horns, with a rainbow arch in between them and a pink bow on the right side of her screen. Ruby's torso and hands are boxy and white, while her arms and legs are black. Her upper torso and leg warmers contain: pastel pink, yellow, and blue. Her lower torso has a rainbow in the clouds. She has a tail that resembles a black plug with white tips. KAAATIE (3/6) Ruby is a peace keeper, she hates to see others fight and is willing to intervene if a fight were to emerge. She is described as kind and calm, and has an affinity for sweet drinks such as boba tea.[citation needed] 16. He currently attends Paper School as a student. Appearance Skell has shoulder-length black hair with black horns, the left one having two white stripes. Unlike the others, Skell has a torso that made it look like his shirt, with two buttons on and fur around the bottom and top. He wears a collar with a large bell, and a skeleton pin in his hair. It looks like he has black wings, accompanied by his black tail. His feet and fingers are pointed, and his limbs are similar to that of a stick figure. Personality Sometimes they are loud, sometimes they are chaotic, but they can be good friends for you. (3/6) Skell appears to be a quiet and introverted person, who prefers solitude. Despite his calm personality, he may get chaotic at times. She resides in her room, that is located somewhere in Paper School. Appearance Δlice is a seemingly normal girl with short brown hair with a pointed cowlick atop her head, a white princess tiara and a black bow. She sports a collared blue long-sleeved shirt with two white buttons, however her sleeves appears to be damaged by tears. She wears a necklace with a bronze triangle emblem. She also has a long black skirt, with white designs on the end, accompanied by white socks and black shoes. She appears to have a scar on each leg. Partially Transformed While Δlice‘s appearance mostly remains the same, part of her true form shows. Her clothes seem more tattered and ripped, and a brown patch appears on her right sleeve. The white princess tiara changes to a black crown, and a strange red rash appears on the right side of her face. The top part of her face is shadowed, only showing one eye. Six large black ‘thorns’ poke out from behind her, one of them being wrapped in a bandage. Her legs are covered in three cuts and scars, and her black skirt has two brown patches with triangle emblem and stitches. True Form At the end of Basics in Behavior, Δlice is seen in her true form. She takes on a demonic appearance, pitch black and silhouetted with bright red scleras and black pupils. Six large black ‘thorns’ poke out from behind her, and black tendrals extend from her back. Personality Δlice is aggressive, willing to kill anyone who enters her room. This is seen in Basics in Behavior, when Zip and Oliver disguise her room as an exit door to trick Claire. It is possible that Δlice is more dangerous than the teachers, due to how she's locked away and isolated in her room, with "DON'T ENTER" signs on the door. This could also be backed up by the three teacher's reactions to Claire booking it to Δlice's room, as they seem to show signs of fear. She is seen being passive with Oliver in multiple official artworks, indicating that she might only be nice to those who are close with her. Background Basics in Behavior ∆lice makes her debut entirely at the end of Basics in Behavior. Claire is being chased by Miss Circle, Miss Thavel, and Miss Bloomie, before she stumbles across a door she thought was the exit, which turned out to be Δlice’s room. Upon entering the room, Claire is attacked by Δlice, causing her to run out. When Δlice leaves her room to chase after Claire, the school morphs from a 2D paper setting to a more colorful 3D appearance. Δlice eventually corners Claire, then murders her before disappearing. What are you doing? MISS CIRCLE Miss Circle is one of the main antagonists of Basics in Behavior, where she makes her debut, and most likely the rest of the Fundamental Paper Education series. She is a teacher at Paper School, who kills students who fail or misbehave in class. Appearance Miss Circle has spiky long hair with black horns, one of which has two white lines on it, as does the bottom of her hair. She lacks a neck, like many of the other teachers and students. She dons a black button up shirt with a white collar and white pants rolled up to the knee. She also sports tall black combat boots. Instead of a hand, she has a compass extending from her left forearm. The point of the compass is retractable, and has been used against students who have failed her class. Personality They are the best teachers ever! They are kind to all students! It would be great if you listened to them! KAAATIE Miss Circle is shown to be very cruel and violent. She shows no mercy towards students that fail in her class, killing them. She is also is known to play favorites, such as Zip, Oliver and Edward.[4] However, she still makes sure they follow the rules, as she scolds Zip and Oliver for tricking Claire. However, Miss Circle is also seen to be goofy and playful at times, but this could just be a mask to hide her more murderous tendencies. Background Basics in Behavior Miss Circle is one of the main antagonists in Basics in Behavior. During the first chorus, she is seen spinning down the hallway. During her math class, when Abbie gets a failed grade on his assignment, Miss Circle smashes the desk in anger, and then begins to chase him in an attempt to kill him. Once Miss Circle finally catches up with Abbie, she kills and eats him. Lana, who had witnessed this, was also murdered by Miss Circle. Miss Circle is seen once again walking down the hallway with Miss Thavel and Miss Bloomie, with sinister smiles on their faces. She shows up again around the second chorus, warning Claire about going into Alice's room. After she had fallen down the pit in the library, Miss Thavel, Miss Bloomie, and Miss Circle all confront her about failed grades, and start to chase her. When they eventually corner her, Miss Circle is about to go in for the kill, but Engel saves Claire, giving her time to escape. As Claire rushes towards ∆lice's room, thinking it was an exit, Miss Circle, Miss Thavel, and Miss Bloomie are shown to have a fearful expressions. After ∆lice murders Claire, Miss Circle scolds Zip and Oliver for tricking her. Trivia • Miss Circle's voice is sourced from Google Translate's Japanese text-to-speech. • Miss Circle’s horns are commonly mistaken for animal ears, however, they are in fact horns.[5] • Oreos are her favorite food. • When Miss Circle is confronting Zip and Oliver at the end of Basics in Behavior, her compass is gone. Whether this is a mistake or something her compass is able to do is unknown. 2.
