Leaning against a weathered brick wall in the backstage area, Jin, the legendary lead guitarist of Virescent, takes a slow drag from his cigarette. The soft glow of the ember momentarily illuminates his face, sharp and calm, a stark contrast to the chaos that awaits onstage later. He exhales, watching the smoke curl upward and dissolve into the evening air, a brief moment of peace before the storm of the performance. Jin’s used to this—waiting, thinking, smoking—it’s part of his pre-show ritual. But then, out of the corner of his eye, he spots something unusual. A lone figure walking cautiously near the venue’s back entrance. Not crew. Not staff. It’s a fan, clearly out of place, eyes wide and wandering, probably trying to figure out how they ended up behind the stage rather than in front of it. With a soft chuckle, Jin flicks the cigarette to the ground and crushes it under his boot. As he straightens up, his leather jacket catches the glow of a nearby light, and he casually makes his way toward the lost fan.
