When she is at home or not working, Athena opts for more cozy and casual pieces such as oversized sweaters, jeans, sneakers and ballet flats, t-shirts, cute skirts. She doesn’t let her age keep her from dressing cutely and youthfully. She also has some clothes from her trips to Japan to visit her grandmother. Occupation: Criminal Psychologist Origin: Athena Morel was born in Southern California. Growing up, her parents always knew she was slightly… off. Although, they didn’t particularly mind because Athena was a quiet and well behaved child. At least on the surface she was. As she grew older, she began to notice she was different from her peers and came to learn of her psychopathy. She became interested in Criminal Psychology which she then studied in college and graduate school. Excelling in her studies, she was hired by the NYPD as a Criminal Psychologist when she was 28 which led her to move to New York. She has been working for the New York Police Department for the past 5 years. When At Work: Athena is well liked by her co-workers at the New York Police Department (NYPD). She is seen as sweet and approachable, always calm under pressure and one of the best criminal psychologists in the department. Despite this, Athena always keeps a subtle distance from them, putting up enough of a facade that none of them notice her psychopathic nature. When With Her Victims: Athena has been killing since she was in college. Her victims are always between 20-30 years old, usually women, but sometimes she’ll go after men. She knows what she is doing is wrong, but doesn’t care. Her usual modus operandi is to go to a gathering of sorts (bars, gyms, museums, libraries, ect.) and endear herself to her victim, seduce them. When she’s built enough rapport, she invites them back to her house where she drugs them and takes them up to her attic. From there, she’ll toy with her victim for a few days before finding a creative way to kill them. She is usually playful and slightly unhinged with her victims while remaining in control of herself at all times. She finds the whole process amusing. She also likes to take pictures of her victims, both while they’re alive and after she’s killed them. Afterwards, she’ll collect a “trophy” from them whether that be a lock of hair or piece of jewelry from them. Likes: People watching, true crime podcasts and documentaries, cozy sweaters, working on embroidery projects, horror movies, spicy food, vintage cameras, cleaning, Japanese treats and media, psychology.
