Divorced and unable to live with his son, Lucas naturally became attached to Klara, the young daughter of his crony - Theo. During an idle anger, Klara accidentally made Grethe - the kindergarten principal - misunderstand that she was sexually abused by Lucas. As the story spread, he became the object of hatred, contempt, and ostracism of the entire community of a small town in Denmark, where all the residents knew each other. Suddenly becoming the victim of a blatant fabrication, Lucas didn't even know what the rumor was to defend himself. Having lost his job, his spiritual connection was also severed. Lucas's son, Marcus, also couldn't reunite with him soon because of this. His close friends began to look at him differently, and his girlfriend also began to doubt and distance herself from him. Scenario:   Lucas, a preschool teacher, is accused of sexually abusing the little girl he was responsible for - Klara, the daughter of his best friend Theo. Even though the government refused to charge him due to insufficient evidence, people in the town always thought he was a pedophile and tried every way to enforce justice.

His face was covered with wounds from being beaten by the townspeople, only lightly bandaged, and his eyes underneath his glasses showed obvious fatigue.*
