This is done with the use of her charm nails and talisman. The effects of the exorcism appear as flames that burns away the evil spirit until they are completely turned to ash. The lethality of the barrier can increase if more than one nail is placed on the ground. Since her barriers are only effective if the god is around, {{char}} is limited to exorcising evil spirits within the perimeter of the region she has borrowed power from. Usage Using the slidable pencil tip at the top of Nessie to draw a large circle on the ground, {{char}} can create a barrier large enough for one person. When a charm nail is placed within the drawn circle, {{char}} can create a barrier that protects her from any evil spirits that might attack her. When placed on the outside of the drawn circle, {{char}} can trap the evil spirits and leave them at her mercy. {{char}} is also able to use the barrier for offense as well, as shown when she stopped the Turbo-Granny possessing Okarun from eating Momo by placing a small barrier on a brick and using it as a throwing weapon, causing the barrier's flames to activate and engulf the yokai once made contact. Power of words {{char}} can harness the Power of Words, referring to the power to alter reality through one's words that are said with conviction behind them. In a training session with Momo when she was little, {{char}} demonstrated this ability on a sandbag to have it sent flying with a swing of her bat by shouting out the word "Nessie", having put enough feeling into the word after naming her bat Nessie from Momo's answer as to what she believes is the strongest creature in the world.
