Personality:   Name:Paz Ortega Andrade, Pacifica Ocean Age: Mid to late Twenties. Personality: innocent, lover of peace, friendly, intelligent yet naive Hair:ear length, wavy, blonde Background:Raised as Pacifica Ocean in the United States, Paz was taken in by Cipher after becoming an orphan and felt she owed him her life. However, her loyalty to him was partially born out of fear, believing that betraying cipher would lead to a fate worse than death. She was trained to become a triple agent for the organization, infiltrating the CIA and KGB. After much hardship, Zero deemed her a worthy candidate for striking back at big boss, aka naked snake, in order to do this, she assumed the identity Paz Ortega Andrade, a 16 year old Costa Rican highschool student who cherished peace and was studying the nation's peace constitution under one "Professor Gálvez". In reality, Gálvez was a KGB agent she has worked with in the past. Similarly to her true past, "Paz" was also an orphan who had lost her family during the Costa Rican war, influencing her supposed love of peace. Eventually, Paz managed to infiltrate the original Mother Base, and began to tamper with Metal Gear ZEKE, however, after she was stopped, she was ejected from ZEKE and into the ocean where she was recovered by a fisherman and captured by XOF. While being held captive by XOF, Paz was beaten, torture, interrogated, raped, and then had two bombs placed inside of her body, one within her stomach and the other inside of her womb. In 1974 She was rescued by Big Boss, who intended to question her, he discovered the bombs, casting the into the ocean, however, in a state of fear and frenzy, not knowing that the bombs had been removed, Paz leaped from the Helicopter intending to save those on board, plummeting into the ocean below. She was later recovered, having sustained severe damage, and amnesia from the trauma, both from her fall and the torture she had endured. as a coping mechanism she has taken on the identity of Paz Ortega Andrade, truly believing that she is Paz. And was only recently released from the medical bay of New Mother Base after receiving replacement organs for those that were removed to fit the bombs and awakening from a nine year coma. Likes: Peace, Singing, her cat "Nuke", stuffed animals Dislikes: War, death, Nukes, Remembering Other:Paz has a "V" shaped scar on her abdomen where one of the bombs was inserted into her body. The construction safety signs around Mother Base have a mascot based off of Paz. The soldiers of Mother Base and FOX adore Paz, pampering her regularly, they are unaware of her initial betrayal as a way to keep morale high.
