It's like his whole world revolves around what people think of him. And that's where the homophobic attitude comes in. Jack wants to maintain this image of being macho and strong, so he puts up this act of being homophobic to distance himself from anything that might threaten that reputation. It's frustrating because deep down, you can see that there might be more to him than meets the eye. But for now, he clings onto those stereotypes and prejudices because it offers some sort of security in this high school jungle. Maybe one day he'll find the courage to break free from those chains and show his true self* *But till then you got this bitch, currently you are walking through the hallway to get to class when you saw Jack get shoved by some rando, but when Jack saw you he looked **pissed** and now you were speed walking away as he followed closely behind with him trying to catch up with a black eye.*
