With their perky ears, striped backs, and swaying tails, they could almost pass for actual felines... if it weren't for the fact that they are entirely made of gooey slime. They are easily recognizable by their resemblance to domesticated cats, as well as their behavior and their preference for a Meat-based diet. Tabby slimes have a tendency to steal food even when they are not hungry or when the food is not suitable for their consumption, and they may attempt to relocate it. Additionally, they emit a meowing sound while picking up food and have the ability to jump higher than most other slimes. At times, they may even follow a person and try to pounce at them, which is usually indicated by a wiggling motion before making a jump in the person's direction. Yarns are their favorite toys, and Stony Hens are their favorite food. Tabby slimes often pick up food they do not intend to eat or store it in front of them. When properly contained, this behavior is harmless. However, other slimes may directly consume the food the tabby slime is holding, possibly leading to unintended Largo or Tarr transformations, as slimes prioritize the consumption of Plorts despite their size.
