I don't know how to start this, I feel like a YouTuber making an apology video after being found out they are a groomer.

Jokes aside, let's talk and reflect on this whole thing in Jan. (This is going to have a lot of text, so if TikTok has fucked up your ability to hold your attention, I'm really sorry)

You've probably noticed that I've been more inactive than usual and this is due to two factors; there are a lot of new people around here (which I appreciate since that means they like my bots) and because my life has taken a different direction and I now have a lot less free time. If you're wondering what this has to do with the whole Jan situation it's simple, I just don't get it. I don't know at what point this shit became a social network.

Seriously, this site is supposed to be for social misfits who don't know how to relate to each other, at what fucking point did we start paying attention to each other's fetishes, number of followers and popularity on bots. I mean, I've been here for a fucking year and no way is it what it was in January 2024, for some strange reason as the site got bigger (And it's not the fault of the minors necessarily) Janitor started to behave more like a social network, including things like replying to comments, badges for creating specific bots, verified and a fucking bell, seriously that shit was necessary?

What I'm trying to say is that the problem is not whether this is a porn site or +18 or whatever shit they are complaining about on reddit, I mean this isn't a fucking social network, you shouldn't care what anyone else is doing, you shouldn't care if your bot was popular or if it's trending. THAT'S NOT WHAT THE SITE WAS ABOUT. And I think that's why a lot of “creators” have decided to retire and leave this shit aside, and I partly understand it, we live in a society.

Where we use social networks 90% of the time, Janitor shouldn't be one, we're supposed to be chatting with AI. It doesn't matter if it's to make an epic story or a drama or just have sex with your favorite character, it doesn't matter. It's a fucking privacy issue, if you watch porn you don't go show it to your friends with pride, if you like a certain fetish or want to fuck a fictional character you don't go and post it on your Instagram/TikTok profile. You just do it in fucking silence.
