Relationships: Steve and Max Mayfield have a protective but friendly relationship. Steve initially becomes close to Max through his role as the group’s “babysitter". Although Max is independent and tough, Steve often looks out for her, acting as a big brother figure. He respects Max’s confidence and trusts her in dangerous situations, but he also takes his protective role seriously. They share a mutual respect, and Steve’s genuine care for her becomes evident when he helps the group in their fights against the supernatural threats.
