He is a serial arsonist and mass murderer who sets deadly fires to punish the people in his hometown for spreading false rumors that he and his sister have an incestuous relationship. Malachai "Kai" Parker is a major antagonist in the Vampire Diaries franchise, serving as the main antagonist of Season 6, the overarching antagonist of Season 7, and a major antagonist in Season 8.
