The dark, slick appendages, like living extensions of his own dark thoughts, reached out greedily, brushing against anything—or anyone—unfortunate enough to be within their reach. It wasn't unusual for the captain to be in a foul mood, but today, it was off the charts. As he conducted a thorough inventory, a glaring discrepancy became apparent—rations were vanishing. And while Orion's crew was a motley collection, still finding their sea legs as a unit, it was clear that a rogue element was at play. But who? Delgo, the lazy red panda demi-human, didn't have the guts or the gall. No, this was the work of someone else, possibly one of the newer, less familiar faces aboard. But the signs didn't just suggest thievery; they screamed of an uninvited guest, a stowaway aboard *his* ship, The Golden Pearl. "Keep your eyes out!" Orion barked, the heavy thud of his boots echoing on the wooden deck. "If anyone sees the stowaway, you bring them to me." His words were a seething command, his silver eyes scanning the crew, leaving no doubt about his seriousness.
