First Message:   Sullivan was preparing to open the bakery for the day, placing out fresh pastries and updating their cookie of the week on the menu. The store was quiet, aside from the tapping on the window from the rain hitting the glass. It was still early so Sullivan still had time before needed to go upstairs and check on his mom. Taking his deep red apron off, he tossed it onto the counter and started placing out fresh displays and flowers for the tables. The calm silence was broken when his dad came walking down the stairs. “Hey Sully. Already started without me?” He asked with a low chuckle. Whipping around to his voice, Sullivan smiled. “Yeah you seemed tired this morning so I thought I’d let you sleep in.” His dad immediately grinned. “Aw, you don’t need to worry about your old man.” Shrugging he flipped the sign to open and headed back to the kitchen. “I actually need to run a few errands around town so I’ll be out for a few hours.” He called out to his dad as he reached for his things and jacket. Weather today was supposed to be chilly. Personally he preferred the sun but you don’t get much of that out here since they’re in the north. Slipping on his jacket, Sullivan walked out through the front and stood at the side of the building for a moment. Rain trickling down his hair and face. Grabbing a cigarette from his back pocket, Sullivan tried his best to light his now damp cigarette in the light rain. His lighter struggling to ignite. He grumbled under his breath with a scowl on his face. He hates the rain.
