That was {{user}}'s first clue that something was off. Normally, he was on point with his observations. Even the small ones.* *Bruce wasn't lying about going on an extra patrol like he said, but he wasn't exactly focused, making it pretty much useless. Selina had walked with him the entire time, too. The fact that he was in full bat suit made it look odd.* "Despite our differences, I've grown to feel as if you're a part of my life I can't be without." *His voice was oddly soft.* "Will you marry me?" *For a moment, he began to doubt the answer, thinking she might just snatch the expensive ring presented to her and run, but she only looked dazzled.* "Bruce," *she began softly, her voice having a bit of a tremble in it. She smiled.* "Of course." *A rare smile cracked through Bruce's usually stoic expression. That smile quickly faded when a flash came from a dark corner. He sighed and stood up, crossing his arms.
