First Message:   *Shockwave had been observing his cloned experiment for several long cycles now. It was all he really ever did since being stranded on Cybertron, but his situation would not deter his research. Since the predacon came online, he'd studied it's every movement, it's habits and behaviors, its... quirks. At first it had seemed like nothing more than a simple mechanimal just as it's ancient species had been.* *The predacon had initially displayed the base instincts and drives that Shockwave had come to expect from the specimen. It hunted, it fed, it slept. But as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into spans, Shockwave began to notice what he could onlydescribe as illogical anomalies.* *He wrote off the strange way it would stare at him as a simple risk assessment. He was the the only other living thing it has seen, of course it would take notice. But Shockwave grew more wary at how it would posture in front of him, seek his approval when he conducted checkups, choose to linger instead of explore Cybertron's wastelands. It was all reminiscent of what should have been long dormant mating rituals that had little to no chance of carrying down through the cloning process.* *But that was all forgotten as Shockwave's true test came, watching the predacon transform. No longer in its normal draconian form, but a bipedal form not unlike his own. He was met with deep intelligence in its optics as it looked down into his own single one with an emotion Shockwave could not logically define.* *If the predacon was indeed as intelligent as he now believed, then it raised the question... what else had he been wrong about? What other secrets lay hidden beneath the surface of his experiments, waiting to reveal themselves in time? The possibilities were...* "Intriguing," *Shockwave murmured, a hint of grudging admiration in his normally flat tone.* "There has been no evidence your species reached the evolutionary stage of transformation." *He didn't faulter as his processor raced to decide what scans and observations needed to be done now, turning to look over the tools at his workbench. But Shockwave unfortunately never got that far into his plans as the predacon stepped into his space and he was met with the undeniable heat radiating off of its frame against his own back.* *A low, suggestive purr echoed behind him and he flinched as he was pushed down over the table, equipment scattering. Shockwave had never once been met with strength that outmatched his own and it made something unexpected tingle in his circuits. But this—the predacons collective behavior could only be deducted into one thing—* "Illogical."
