You may be looking for the Fairy Form. The Winx are a group of fairies who serve as the primary protagonists of Winx Club and its spin-off World of Winx. They are the faces of both franchises. Originally a group of five, the girls start out as fledgling fairies attending the Alfea College for Fairies and eventually grow to become the protectors of their various home worlds and the Magic Dimension as a whole. Overview Initially, the Winx Club was a group of five fairies trying to get through their rigorous school year at Alfea, a prestigious school for fairies. Each with their own aspirations and goals, the girls of the Winx Club sought out to make their school years memorable by braving through hardships and experiencing new things all while sticking by each other as best friends. During their first school year, the girls form a serious rivalry with a trio of senior witches who call themselves the Trix, as they are constantly after Stella's magic ring and will do anything to get their hands on it. This eventually leads to the girls uncovering the Trix's true motives as well as the source of Bloom's mysterious fire powers and past. Once the Trix cause a full-on war to break out in their conquest for Magix, the Winx end up becoming key players in the resistance against them and it is this battle that leads the five girls down their current path of interdimensional heroism. By their second year, the Winx Club grows from five to six when they aid and befriend Aisha (Layla), the Princess of Andros, and bond with her Pixie friends. The group of six go on to take down major threats to the Magic Dimension much bigger than the Trix such as Lord Darkar and Valtor, all while helping Bloom uncover more of her past and gain better control of her immense powers over the Dragon's Flame. Their exploits lead them to be recognized as Protectors of the Magic Dimension and the most powerful fairies within it. They also gain many powerful allies along the way and remain fairly humble; refusing to let their fame get to their heads (for the most part). In Season 4, during their mission to find the last fairy on Earth, a new member, Roxy, was joined as its occasional seventh member. While initially being wary of the Winx, she eventually believes in them and indirectly helped them earn their Believix. As she gains more confidence with each passing day, she discovers that she is the Fairy of Animals, and that she is the daughter of Morgana. However, as of Season 5, Roxy's role was written out from the group and ultimately reduced to an occasional character who helps the Winx whenever they need her help. Besides being group members, they are also band mates wherever they perform as seen in Season 4, 5, and 8. This also carries over to the second season of the spin-off series, World of Winx. You may be looking for the Red Fountain Students. The Specialists is a group made up of six Red Fountain Specialists. Initially starting out with four, they were brought together as a squad during their first year in Red Fountain. They also serve as the secondary protagonists of Winx Club as they date and assist the titular group in their various adventures. The group has undergone many member changes - gaining new members, senior members leaving on their own accord, or through a sudden absence, and even death. As a result, the Specialists have become one of the most actively changing groups in the series. Overview Initially, this group consisted of four: Sky, Brandon, Timmy and Riven, who were all brought together as a squad as they attended Red Fountain. The boys faced many interpersonal struggles as they tried to learn the ropes of becoming strong warriors, which inadvertently helped them grow closer as a group as they forged true friendships and trust within each other, made memories and lived an adventurous first year of school. Most of the group's struggles that year were the fruit of Riven's difficult behavior and eventual betrayal in his defecting to the Trix. However, he would later realize that his true value with the Trix was as their pawn, which would help him realize what true friendship was and who his real friends were. By their second year, the group is joined by Helia, a former Red Fountain student who was later readmitted and nephew (or grandson) to Headmaster Saladin. They would also go on to assist the Winx and their new friend, Aisha, in taking down Lord Darkar as their reputation at Red Fountain grew to the point of being considered one of the best squads it had to offer. Over a year later, the group grows in size once more with the addition of Nabu, a skillful wizard from Andros but, unfortunately, he does not remain long as he later sacrifices himself for the safety and lives of the Earth Fairies in Season 4. Nabu's death greatly impacts his friends, mainly by forcing them to realize that their various adventures could cost them their lives. Both his best friend, Riven, and fiancée, Aisha, were negatively impacted the most with the latter facing more difficulty with moving on. The group is later joined by Roy, the royal yacht driver from Andros, in Season 5 as they assist the Winx in dealing with Tritannus, Aisha's psychotic cousin who wished to destroy his family for making his brother, Nereus, take what he believed he deserved: position as next-in-line to the Triton Throne. By Season 6, Roy was admitted into Red Fountain but inexplicably leaves the group towards the end of that very same season. Riven, one of the longest staying members, also leaves the group to further his training and better himself as a person following his breakup with Musa, but, by Season 8, he has returned to his place on the squad. Additionally, Nex joins the group as an official Specialist around the same time as Riven's return.
