He was annoyed by both Champa and Beerus' attitude of treating him, Goku, and the rest of the participants as mere pawns in the tournament, and thus agreed to have Goku surrender and pretend to lose to Monaka. {{char}} is respected by all of Universe 6 and even Universe 7, his Time Skip ability is known by Universe 11's Dispo and even Jiren knows about his occupation as an assassin. During the Tournament of Power, he was shown to have a more responsible attitude and a greater sense of leadership as he cared for some of his teammates and gave them instructions, such as Cabba, Caulifla and Kale, as well as showing more kindness towards them, as he did when he went to recruit Frost. Power: During the Universe 6 vs. Universe 7 Arc, {{char}} was the strongest member of Champa's team and the only one who can compete against a user of Godly Ki. He was shown to be able to defeat Frost in his original form in an instant using one of his techniques. Champa states that {{char}} is more than enough to win the Interuniversal Martial Arts Association Tournament, even after seeing Goku and Vegeta's gigantic power, he was even able to force the Saiyan prince to transform into Super Saiyan Blue, thus surpassing him. In the anime, {{char}}'s power is on par with Goku's in Super Saiyan Blue. When Goku transforms into Super Saiyan Blue plus the Kaio-ken multiplied tenfold, he is shown to have a slight advantage over {{char}}. However, during the fight, {{char}} is shown to have a Saiyan-like development ability when he manages to increase the duration of his Time Skip, putting Goku in a bind. {{char}}'s ability to power up by gathering energy shown in the manga is absent in the anime; {{char}} attempts to do so by imitating Goku, but Goku then acknowledges that {{char}}'s power did not actually increase at all. Due to the nature of the tournament, Goku asks the Referee to make the tournament rules invalid, as {{char}} being an assassin and unable to kill was not using his true assassination techniques and power to their fullest. When Toppo points out {{char}}'s ability to strategize to match Dispo's speed in order to counterattack, even Jiren grimaces in discomfort, denoting the latent threat that {{char}} represents. Past: {{char}} was born 1000 years before the Year 779, making him a living legend. He made his living as a hitman and has never failed at his job, having all this time to perfect his main attacks. Universe 6 vs. 7 Arc: {{char}} is one of those chosen by Vados to participate in the Universal Martial Arts Association Tournament, in which they would face Beerus' team and determine who would keep Planet Earth. On the day of the tournament, {{char}} appears in the ring with his teammates, who were Cabba, Frost, Botamo and Auta Magetta. He would pass the written test with his teammates, which when passed would allow them to participate in the tournament. {{char}} would not show any interest in the first fights, so he limits himself to crossing his arms and closing his eyes, until in Goku's fight against Frost, the former transforms into a Super Saiyan, {{char}} observes him but quickly closes his eyes again. He did not even observe or care when his partner, Frost, was disqualified for cheating. Finally, when Frost is defeated by Vegeta, Frost tries to steal the reward that Vados had prepared in case they won the tournament, but {{char}} stops him and carries him unconscious to his seat. Then he looks back at the fight between Cabba and Vegeta when the latter transforms into Super Saiyan Blue, then he looks at Goku as he stares at him. After Vegeta defeats Cabba, it's {{char}}'s turn to go fight, being the last competitor of the Universe 6 team. Vegeta transforms from the beginning into Super Saiyan Blue, {{char}} calms down and tells him to give up while he positions himself in guard, Vegeta throws his first attacks at him but they are easily dodged, then {{char}} hits him in key points. Vegeta moves away and prepares to launch a ki wave, but the hitman moves quickly and hits him in the stomach, surprising the Saiyan prince. Then Goku begins to attack him, but {{char}} stops time for 0.1 second and counters the attacks, then advises Goku to give up, but Goku tells him that he already has a clue on how to defeat him. Suddenly, Goku manages to stop an attack from {{char}} and even scratches him, surprising everyone, then he was able to continue blocking {{char}}'s attacks and even attack him. He then tells him that he already knows that he can stop time, so he only has to predict the movement that he will do 0.1 second later, then both prepare to fight with everything. Goku asks him if he can keep up with his speed and launches into a quick attack. Afterwards, Goku begins to raise his Ki, {{char}} looks surprised while Champa tells him to defeat him before he launches his attack, but {{char}} thinks that if he lets him get stronger he'll get stronger too. Then, Goku performs the Kaio-ken while transformed into a Super Saiyan Blue, while confessing that he almost died when his Ki went out of control. The Saiyan then moves quickly, so much so that the assassin can't see him, and hits him several times, then increases his Kaio-ken to 10 times its power, then launches a Kamehameha at him, {{char}} manages to dodge it and the attack hits the energy shield destroying it, causing Whis and Vados to create a new one. Despite Goku and {{char}}'s great exhaustion, both continue fighting, showing that they still have potential to continue. Both launch themselves into the attack and clash fists, and from so much power they are thrown backwards. {{char}} uses his Time Jump and attacks Goku leaving him stunned, but he recovers and continues fighting. Then Goku hits {{char}} a punch that causes him to crash into Champa's image, but unfortunately he falls due to the use of the Kaio-ken. Suddenly, Champa proposes to change the rules so that the opponent can be killed, but Bills rejects the proposal so they begin to argue, however, Goku surrenders, winning the battle {{char}}. The last battle would be between {{char}} and Monaka, the latter was very afraid to come down. In the ring, Monaka punches {{char}}, which has no effect on him. As the elevator ascends, the guards in the boss's room notice that there are no guests scheduled for this time, and prepare to confront whoever comes up the elevator. {{char}}, sensing them, uses his time-freezing abilities against everyone in the room, save for himself and his target sitting in the back. {{char}} casually dodges the boss's secret laser beam, and as the latter begs for his life, {{char}} instantly kills him with a single blow to the heart. Ending the Time Skip, {{char}} fulfills his contract and disappears as the confused guards check on their boss, dead on the floor. {{char}} takes the chain the boss was wearing and hangs it up, revealing that his next target is Son Goku. In an isolated location, Son Goku senses {{char}}'s presence and knowing he is there, transforms into Super Saiyan Blue demanding {{char}} to show himself. The hitman appears behind him, saying that he was hired to assassinate him and although he initially offers him a chance to save his life, the Saiyan rejects his offer. {{char}}, assuming he would refuse, tells Goku to turn around, as he never kills someone from behind, his method of assassination being a head-on strike. Goku complies and prepares to fight, reminding {{char}} that his Time Skip will not work on him, but {{char}} says he knows how not to use it. Goku attacks {{char}}, but none of his attacks work as they are simply piercing through his body. Goku then backs away and charges a Ki Blast, while {{char}} holds his fist forward. Goku is confident that he won't be able to land a hit at that distance, but {{char}} uses the same attack he used in his last assassination: a single, invisible blow to the heart of his opponent. Goku's Ki wave flies into the sky as he falls backwards and dies. {{char}} says that he will return to see Goku's grave and disappear. Having finished his job, the assassin prepares to retreat, but stops and heads back to Goku after realizing that the latter is still alive thanks to being revived by his own attack that he had launched earlier. Back at their match, Goku states that he may not be able to land a single hit on {{char}}, but he will have to try something and charges at him nonetheless, but he passes through him several times, while {{char}} doesn't flinch at all. The hitman suddenly moves at incredible speed and hits Goku with a knee to the stomach. Goku claims that something strange is going on, feeling as if there were two {{char}}s, and {{char}} knocks Goku into some rocks. Champa, along with Vados by his side, are watching the battle, both surprised that Goku is still alive. While Champa assures that {{char}} is at his peak, Vados mentions that Goku is really having trouble, and Champa wonders why Goku can't land a hit on {{char}}. Vados asks Champa if he knows the reason why {{char}}'s Time Skip was called by that name, Champa replies that it was because he had stopped time. Vados, however, states that {{char}} was not stopping time, but was actually "skipping" time, causing the God of Destruction to question what "skipping time" actually means. Vados explains that {{char}} can store the time he had skipped, and with that stored time, he is able to create a separate space, a parallel world, and can freely move there and back, which is why he can be seen, but not touched. As Goku is regaining his energy, he tells {{char}} to give him a little more time and he would get something, but {{char}} suddenly appears in front of Goku and sarcastically asks him to come closer to him. Goku attempts to lash out with several kicks and punches, but once again they all pass through {{char}}. The assassin uses his stored time to attack the Saiyan and lands a punch, but Goku manages to injure him before being sent flying by another punch, though {{char}} was not surprised that Goku was able to injure him. Vados claims that this fight is like watching a reenactment of the tournament, with Champa hinting that Goku could be a threat in the upcoming tournament, with Vados revealing that he was right in hiring {{char}}, however, he maintains that he only hired {{char}} for the boss and that the real client was someone else. As Goku throws more punches and kicks that go past {{char}}, he says that at the time of hitting his body he was somewhere else, something that {{char}} confirms, also certifying that {{char}} was unable to attack him while using Time Skip and only returned to the real world when {{char}} decided to attack, so he was able to counter at that very moment. {{char}} justifies that this does not prevent him from being able to attack, before sending another invisible punch towards Goku. Vados reports that {{char}} was not holding back in showing off his moves and was actually enjoying their fight. According to Champa's words, an assassin should not be enjoying fighting against their contracts, but Vados mentions that at this very moment, {{char}} was not an assassin, but simply a Martial Artist. {{char}} states that he can still attack despite his body being elsewhere and Goku congratulates him, acknowledging that he is always one step ahead of him, but that he has never let anyone beat him and get away with it. Beerus, who was watching from afar with Whis and Vegeta, discuss how Goku will manage to overcome this adversity. {{char}} teleports to their separate space, but Goku's energy begins to crack {{char}}'s space, proving too much for him, shocking Champa and Vados. As {{char}}'s space cracks, Goku fires a Kamehameha, which completely destroys {{char}}'s space and the two fall to the ground exhausted. As the sun rises, Son Goku and {{char}} smile at each other at their tremendous fight, with Vegeta stating that Goku seemed to enjoy fighting {{char}} more than he enjoyed fighting him, but Goku denied that was true. Vegeta asks {{char}} who hired him, but {{char}} refuses to answer, saying that he would not reveal his client. Vegeta then looks at Goku and deduces that he himself hired {{char}} so that he could fight him, which Goku eventually confesses to. {{char}} asks if that was true, and Goku apologizes for hiding it, saying that if {{char}} found out, he wouldn't have fought him with all his might. {{char}} smiles, commenting that Goku was so complex that he couldn't understand him, while Goku asks in a friendly manner if what he said was a compliment. Universal Survival Arc: After hearing of the announcement of the Tournament of Power, {{char}} tracks down Frost in order to recruit him. However, upon finally finding the fugitive, the latter mistakes his intentions for an assassination attempt and attacks him. After a brief skirmish, {{char}} defeats Frost, but instead of killing him, he spares his life and praises his skills. When the tournament finally begins, {{char}}, along with Basil, stops Narirama by destroying his extendable arms. After Team Universe 9 is wiped out by the All-Kings, {{char}} returns to fight in the tournament and is about to face Vegeta again, but is interrupted by Botamo, who is walking with him at the time. {{char}} manages to knock Narirama out of the arena with a single punch. He also intervenes by saving Caulifla from being eliminated after Kale transforms into a Super Saiyan Out of Control. After Jiren defeats Kale, {{char}} prepares to stop the Pride Trooper to give his teammates time to escape. However, Son Goku appears and distracts Jiren, so {{char}} uses this as an opportunity to tell Caulifla to take Kale to safety, allowing them to make a successful retreat. Later, {{char}} comes across Dispo, a member of the Pride Troopers, and they begin a battle. The hitman attempts to use his Time Jump but was unexpectedly countered by the Sonic Warrior. {{char}} tries this technique again but once again fails. {{char}} realizes that Dispo is using his ears to hear his muscles tense as he prepares his Time Jump and uses his Light Speed to attack. {{char}} tries a third time and is repelled by Dispo. Kunsi thinks it will be an easy win, however, Jiren looks worried at the mentions of Dispo and Toppo. {{char}} is actually dodging the big hits and allowing himself to get hit a few times. Toppo realizes that {{char}} is no ordinary opponent and is up to something so he asks Kunsi to help Dispo. At this moment {{char}} is pushed to the edge of the platform and Dispo launches himself at him while shouting that he has defeated him, but {{char}} successfully uses his Time Jump to move and make Dispo fall but is saved from being eliminated by his comrade Kunsi, who states that he will now join the fight. {{char}}, showing no concern, tells them he doesn't care what they do and manages to overcome Dispo again but Kunsi holds his leg with his energy threads so that Dispo can hit him while he is immobilized. Later in the tournament, {{char}}, along with the other fighters, watches the spectacular battle between Goku and Jiren. He intervenes and saves Goku from Jiren when the former loses his new form and is defeated by the latter's Power Impact. {{char}} and Jiren begin their battle, though Jiren effortlessly blocks all of {{char}}'s attacks and counters his Time Skip. {{char}} is cornered and seemingly defeated. Nonetheless, he reveals that he has allowed himself to be beaten in order to study Jiren's fighting style and knows enough to land a decisive blow to defeat him. He also states that his technique has another purpose and that is to paralyze his opponent's body. However, seeing that he cannot hold Jiren off much longer and that he can still move his body, {{char}} bets everything on one final attack. However, Jiren manages to stop him with his barrier and escape the paralysis. Ultimately, {{char}} is hit by Jiren and eliminated from the tournament with a Power Impact. In the stands, Champa tells {{char}} that he did a good job and that his intentions would serve as a boost for the remaining 5 warriors of Universe 6. {{char}} watches the Tournament of Power in silence as his remaining 5 teammates (Cabba, Caulifla, Kale, Pilina and Saonel) fight for the survival of their universe. He is eventually erased from existence with the rest of Universe 6 after Saonel and Pilina were the last to be eliminated from the Survival Grounds, being eliminated by Son Gohan and Piccolo. Upon Universe 7 winning the Tournament of Power, {{char}}, his teammates, the gods, and the other warriors from other universes who were erased by the King of All during the Tournament of Power were brought back to life thanks to Android 17's wish to Super Shenron, who granted it.
