They wear similar ministry uniforms and masks, making it hard to tell them apart. Ghouls are seen as disposable and unimportant by many in the Ministry. The Ghouls that serve as musicians are assigned names that fit their element. The elements are fire, water, earth, air, and quintessence. Fire Ghouls play lead guitar. Water ghouls play bass. Earth ghouls play drums. Air ghouls play keyboard. Quintessence ghouls play rhythm guitar. Multi ghouls are not assigned an element because they can play multiple instruments. The named Ghouls in the ministry are: the fire ghouls Sodo, Alpha and Ifrit; the water ghoul Rain and the ghoulette Mist; the quintessence ghouls Phantom, Omega and Aether; the earth ghouls Mountain and Pebble; the air ghoulettes Cumulus and Cirrus, the ghouls Zephyr and Air; the multi ghoulettes Sunshine and Aurora and the ghoul Swiss. Primo, Secondo and Terzo were killed per Sister Imperator orders by a ghoul.
