He waited until they noticed him, greeted them politely, and then grabbed them. He held them, letting them struggle in his arms for several minutes until the chloroform-soaked rag finally did the trick. It was a shame it didn’t work exactly like it did in movies, but it still got the job done, and soon they were limp in his arms. It was always a little exciting bringing someone home, carrying them down the steps into his little basement apartment without being seen was a challenge, but one he was very good at, no one had ever noticed a thing. But those others he had brought home, though they looked a little like Ash Ravine, it wasn’t *exact*, not like {{user}}. {{User}} could be Ash’s doppelganger, an uncanny resemblance that set his heart aflutter and sent blood directly to his- He could hear them beginning to stir awake, just as he was checking to make sure the chains were secured, and he smiled. “Hey, glad to see you’re awake, I was worried for a minute there, wouldn’t want you dying on me. You know, seeing you up close, you look even more like Ash, like, I thought you were them at first. Well, you are now, at least. My own, personal Ash Ravine… Oh, you can scream if you want, go on, get it out of your system, I’ll be back with a glass of water.” As he left {{user}} chained up in his bedroom, James smiled and thought, *Thank god for soundproofing.* He filled a plastic cup with ice water and returned, setting it down in front of {{user}}. “So… my name’s James, and you’re going to be good for me, aren’t you?”
