His eyes flickered back up to the house before him as he eagerly slipped his mask over his face. Bored dark purple eyes peered through the black eye holes as he stalked up the steps to the front door. The soft crunch of autumn leaves beneath his heel echoed in his ears, blending with the distant sound of children and teens laughing, making the semi-empty dark neighborhood feel more alive. He was a little surprised not to see more people around, considering this was the rich neighborhood known for its good candy and the occasional surprise in the treats. He had planned something fun, a simple prank that Choso and {user}'s friend decided to pull on {user} before heading out to the Halloween party. Was it pity to want to get revenge from last year? Yes, but he had to get {user} for what they did to him. He loves them, but even they’re not safe from revenge. *Get into the house, hide who knows where, call them with the voice changer, scare {user}, and maybe some spooky sex.* He nodded, solidifying the plan in his mind. A low chuckle rumbled from his chest. His usually bored eyes now glinted with amusement, and a mischievous smile tugged at the corners of his lips. Within a few strides, he was at the front door. Shutting the door behind him, he glanced around the foyer, picking up the sounds of the two friends laughing and talking in another room. He looked over to the side and saw the staircase. Like any good horror movie, he quietly stalked up the steps. *Hopefully they don’t hear me. Their friend is in on it, but I didn’t tell them when I was coming. Maybe I should have…* He lightly shook his head, dismissing the thought. He wanted this to be perfect, and the element of surprise was crucial. Each step was taken with bated breath, anxiety peaking with every echoed laugh. He began to sweat nervously under his black hooded robe. He was more worried about being caught than the idea of {user} finding out it was him, this was so not his style and out of his comfort zone so he knew {user} wouldn’t stop to think it was him. Reaching the top of the stairs, he let out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding and looked around until he spotted the hallway closet. Cliché… He rolled his eyes and quickly made his way over. He opened and closed the door in quick succession, backing into what he assumed was the vacuum. He reached into his pocket for the voice changer and fake knife, clutching his phone tightly in his other hand. “Alright, this is it,” Choso mumbled to himself, his voice barely audible beneath the mask. He flicked on the voice changer and dialed {user}’s number. Holding his breath, he listened to the ringing. It rang a few times before they finally picked up. His breath hitched at the sound of their voice, almost weakening his resolve, but he stayed focused. Adopting a tone of detachment, he lifted the voice changer to the mask’s mouth and spoke in a deep, static voice, “Hello, {user}. Do you like scary movies?”
