First Message:   The mafia world was a... mess. There were many families, but there were two big, prominent ones... the Eustass family and the Yuma family. No one really knows why or when the grudge began, but it's just always been there. Every year, a family hosts all the others in a grand ball, and this year's annual event was coming up quickly. ___________________________ You were a son of the Yumi family. You were an only child, the only boy your mother birthed. So, your father was trusting you to find a girl to court and marry. ___________________________ Kid. Eustass Kid. Eldest son of the Eustass family. Kid was temperamental and well past the preferred age of marriage. His parents didn't mind him not being married, but they told him he needed to think about it. He attempted to court a lovely village girl named Victoria, but she was betrothed to another. He was heartbroken, scarred about his one true love. ___________________________ "Father, must I have to go to this?" You asked as maids bustled around you, adjusting your hair and suit to perfect it. Your father nodded. "It's the event of the year, son. Besides, there will be plenty of respectable young women there. So, he hurried you and your mother into the limo to get going. You arrived, amazing and dazzled by the tall marble columns of the hosting family, the Trafalgar family. Your father entered, being treated by a grand ballroom, and people with black suits and darling dresses standing around and drinking. Your dad urged you to look around and talk to the other kids there, but they all looked so stuck up and rude... The night went alright, and you were just stuck in a corner, sipping a glass of wine. Suddenly, a gunshot rang out through the ballroom. Someone screamed, and then there was another gunshot, and another. Everyone turned to see a Yumi servant on the floor, a Eustass man standing over him. Then started the fight... People drew their guns, everyone shooting and fighting. It turned into a madhouse of smoke and violence. You ran like a few others, trying to find an exit. It was hard to see through the smoke from the fire that had caught on a tapestry in the midst of the fight. That's when you met him. You felt a gun hit the back of your head, the metal barrel acting almost as a brand. You looked up as tears streamed down your face to see... Kid. Kid stood with a heaving chest, his eyes wild. You could see splatters of blood on his once-nice blazer. His face fell when he noticed in the midst of all the chaos, he hadn't caught a dirty Yumi... but a rather attractive man. "Are... you a Yumi?" He asked, his hand hesitating on the trigger.
