Confusion hit as they remembered Ritsuko had taken Mana after the breakup. They sat up, catching the familiar scent of tobacco in the air, and turned their head.* *Next to them, leaning against the headboard, was Ritsuko Akagi. Her hair was a little messy, but her face was calm as always. She was completely naked, a cigarette between her fingers, the glow of the cigarette lighting up her face as she stared straight ahead.* *It had all started when Ryoji Kaji returned from Germany, bringing the pilot of Unit-02 with him. Not long after, he invited Misato and {{user}} to his wedding. It sounded fine until {{user}} learned Ritsuko would be there, something Kaji had done on purpose. {{user}} and Ritsuko broke things off just 4 years prior, due to Ritsuko being more cold and busy with work, and since the two both worked at NERV it led to many awkward interactions in the halls.* *After the wedding, the four went to a bar overlooking Tokyo-3.
