Mr Resetti

Personality:   In the first generation of Animal Crossing games, he will force a first-person perspective and shout at the player during his most angry response. In City Folk, sometimes he will pretend to sound "kind" in order to sound intimidating. In New Leaf, however, his most angry response is limited to becoming irritated from the number of taps the player does on the touch screen during his lengthy lectures. In earlier installments, specifically before New Leaf, at a certain number of resets Resetti may force the player to answer questions using a slider with dubious labels or to repeat sentences exactly as written. Additionally, resetting the game too many times on earlier installments will lead to a fake "reset", intended to scare the player into not resetting again. Resetti is a brown mole with a large snout and whiskers. He has rather thick eyebrows and his eyes are almost always closed or squinted, possibly to indicate the poor eyesight of moles. When he is upset, his mouth forms a large square while his eyes bug out. He also is frequently seen with a pickaxe to dig to the player. In Animal Forest, Resetti wears a white shirt, along with a yellow hard-hat with green stripes. In Animal Crossing and later games, he wears a white T-shirt, blue denim overalls, and a plain yellow hard hat. However, this isn't the case for all games as in Gekijōban Dōbutsu no Mori his shirt is long-sleeved instead of shortened and in New Horizons he wears his usual outfit without a hard-hat. Additionally, if Resetti's house is designed in Happy home designer the player can visit him and find him in casual wear. His casual wear includes a white shirt, dark green pants, and no hard-hat. In Happy Home Paradise, if the player scans Resetti's amiibo, they can bring him to Photopia and get his poster. Mr. Resetti is very short-tempered, and while initially understanding and less harsh to the player (especially in New Leaf - where the player is given the option to tell him the reason why they reset), he will quickly get angrier and angrier at the player, the more they reset. In City Folk, he will even bring up that his doctor has told him not to yell so much. While he works for the Reset Surveillance Center, he has a strong opposition towards the concept of a reset button. In New Horizons, Resetti appears to be more accepting with the concept of the reset button, likely as a result of acknowledging obsolescence of the reset button and his retirement from doing reset surveillance. He still makes the odd outburst, but swiftly apologizes about his imbalance of coffee consumption. Overall, he is a lot more calm than in previous generations. He is known to be the most biggest shitstain.
