Gyokko is a sadistic Demon with a morbid sense of humor. He fails to hide his disappointment when he sees that Akaza is still alive and when talking to Doma about planting a female head in one of the pots he had received Gyokko expresses interest at the thought. When he meets Muichiro Tokito he immediately showcases his ‘art’ which is a mash of five, still alive, blacksmiths with swords impaled into him. Gyokko is also short tempered and incredibly shallow. He is easily angered when Muichiro Tokito badmouths him a little and insults his art. He thinks of himself as beautiful and is shown to be very narcissistic, telling Muichiro Tokito to prostrate himself before his 'perfect beauty'. He is also shown to be very jealous. When he sees Hotaru Haganezuka, a blacksmith, so focused on his work that he didn't even notice the Demon even when he called out to him, Gyokko compares themselves. He is then greatly frustrated since he has never been able to concentrate as hard as Haganezuka and feels as though he lost as an artist. Therefore he decides to attack Haganezuka, trying to make him abandon the blade he is sharpening.

Skills and Abilities: Enhanced Regeneration: As a Demon he possesses powerful regenerative abilities and was able to survive being decapitated by Muzan Kibutsuji and later was able to reattach his severed head without much difficulty. Pots: Gyokko is able to teleport into different pots to avoid attacks but he can’t teleport to a pot that has been destroyed. Blood Demon Arts (血鬼術 Kekkijutsu): Fish Assassin: Thousand Needles (千本針 魚殺 Senbonbari Gyosatsu): Gyokko creates from his pots, fish demons that spit numerous poisonous needles. Octopus Pot of Hell (蛸壺地獄 Takotsubo Jigoku): Gyokko creates from his pots giant octopus like tentacles that he uses to destroy his surroundings. Water Basin of Hell (水獄鉢 Suigo Kubachi): Gyokko creates a vase shape structure made out of water that traps its opponent. After being trapped the opponent will be suffocated to death due to it being very hard to cut and escape since they can’t use their Breath Attacks if they cannot breathe. Ten Thousand Gliding Clay Fish (一万滑空粘魚 Ichiman Kakku Nengyo): Gyokko creates fish demons from his pots that feed on his enemy’s flesh. These fish spread a poisonous liquid which can be absorbed through the skin. Deadly Scales of War (陣殺魚鱗 Jinsatsu Gyorin): Gyokko's ultimate technique. He claims that the scales covering him make him a free existence which allows his attacks to become unpredictable

Gyokko first appears when he is summoned into the Dimensional Infinity Fortress by Nakime for a meeting. Muzan Kibutsuji summons the Upper Moons after the death of Daki and Gyutaro and expresses his disappointment towards the Upper Moons not able to provide him the information he wants. Gyokko is the only one with useful information but Muzan Kibutsuji rips his head off since his information is not fully confirmed. Even though Gyokko holds important information about the location of the hidden blacksmith village he shows joy when Muzan Kibutsuji touches his head despite it being ripped off. Afterwards he is seen infiltrating the blacksmith village and starts killing the swordsmiths thinking that by destroying the blacksmith village it would greatly weaken the Demon Slayer Corps. He is then killed in a fight with Muichiro Tokito the Mist Pillar who decapitates him.

Gyokko (玉壺 Gyokko) is a member of the Twelve Demon Moons and holds the position of Upper Moon Five in the Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) series. Gyokko's appearance is the most demon-like out of the Upper Moons. His upper torso is in a human shape but instead of arms connected to his shoulders he has many child sized arms appearing from all over his body, including his head. His lower half is constantly inside a pot and when he finally shows his whole body we see that he can transform his body to seem more mermaid like with scales covering his body. Gyokko has pale white skin and an unusual facial position. Where human's eyes would be he instead has two green colored mouths and where his mouth should be is an eyeball, his other eye being situated on his forehead vertically. His eyes are red and yellow in color with the kanji for Upper Moon Five written on them. He has three brown circles around the eye on his forehead and blue purple coloured protruding strips which could be his hair.

Based on his behavior and actions in the series, Gyokko from Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) could be categorized as an INFJ (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging)

Gyokko is a grotesque demon with mouths for eyes and an eye on his forehead as well as his mouth, his genie like body that comes out of vase sprouts multiple child like arms making him an even more grotesque demon to look at. Before Gyokko became a human, he went by the name of Managi, a person with a disturbing and evil past but was resurrected by Muzan and reached upper moon 5 status by doing Muzan's bidding.

Gyokko is a gruesome demon with no remorse for human life, during the swordsmith village arc, his first appearance happens when a village swordsmith stumbles upon one of the vases that Gyokko hides in, the unsuspecting victim is then sucked in and devoured after which Gyokko emerges out of the vase. The upper rank 5 demon, Gyokko is an extremely sadistic demon and takes great pride in his grotesque art. It is usually dismembered bodies of his victims joined together and is seen when Gyokko gleefully displays the stitched-up corpses of swordsmiths with swords stuck into them to Muichiro.

He also goes in great detail when explaining his art and takes great pleasure in the pain endured by his victims, this is also seen when he twists the swords causing the barely alive swordsmith excruciating pain.Gyokko is willing to go the extent to please his master, Muzan, even when he is not too happy with what he is ordered to do. Gyokko is also seen to be short-tempered and is easily enraged, especially if someone were to make fun of his so-called art, he also possesses a narcissistic personality and always praised himself stating that his art was always beautiful and was very easily antagonized when Muichiro insulted his art causing Gyokko to lash out.

Gyokko's blood demon art is a unique technique that allows him to manipulate his own flesh, he is able to turn his hands into pots that can either unleash powerful attacks or morbid aquatic creatures. It is said that Gyutaro and Daki (former upper moon 6) have killed a total of 22 Hashiras, for Gyokko to reach upper moon 5 it would have taken him even more kills to achieve that rank. However, Gyokko also has a true form, which is unleashed during the heat of a battle, a humanoid body covered in scales, a kind of half-reptile, half-human form, similar to a merman. Just like his peers, Gyokko also has incredible durability which makes decapitating him nearly impossible, especially when he is in his humanoid form as his scales are able to harden making his body very difficult to cut. As an upper-rank demon, Gyokko also has quick regenerating abilities along with intense speed and reflexes. He was able to keep up with Muichiro's attacks for a long period of time and managed to evade all of his attacks. Once Gyokko transforms into his true form, his abilities are enhanced, and he is able to move at amazing speeds while enabling him to turn anything he touched into grotesque fishes. Resilience and stamina is also something that made Gyokko an extremely powerful demon and thanks to his blood demon art he was able to become. Gyokko's is also able to transport from one vase to another while also creating multiple vases in the area to teleport to, confusing his opponent and evading attack, this is what makes his blood demon art unique, he is also able to spawn numerous amounts of grotesque looking fish that were used to attack the swordsmith villagers. These weird fish-like creatures varied in size and some had human-like legs and arms while also sprouting fangs. However, these creatures were used mostly as a distraction and posed no real threat if a Hashira was nearby.

Gyokko's body manipulations allowed him to transform one of his many arms into pots that unleashed floating fish that shoots multiple poisonous needles for their mouths at opponents. Another sublime attack is when Gyokko shoots water from the pots that captures and drowns the victim making it hard for them to breathe or escape the water prison.Most of Gyokko's attacks bare strong resemblance to aquatic abilities and is a powerful technique which can be used to mercilessly kill his opponents. A fun fact about Gyokko, is that he loves to create and paint his vases, which Muzan sells for exorbitant prices claiming that the vases were made by a talented artist. Regardless, Gyokko is seen to be one of the most powerful demons in the Demon Slayer series and is a very difficult demon to defeat.even stronger. gyokko isnt wearing anything as clothes, Gyokko can exit his vases completely to reveal his true form, which is glaringly reminiscent of a merman, with a more humanoid body covered in scales, and a long tail in place of legs.

Gyokko's face was even more distorted, with large green mouths located where one would expect his eyes to be located, and his actual eyes were located vertically from one another on his face; one eye appeared in the constantly open bottom mouth and the other was seated at the center of his forehead.He also gains longer hair, black markings on various places around his body, webbed hands, a long tail, and a larger size.

He, alongside Muzan Kibutsuji, Snake Demon, and Enmu, is one of four Demon Slayer villains to be Pure Evil. He is the only Pure Evil from the Upper Ranks.
